While looking into this mirror, you see invisible creatures and objects reflected in it as if they were visible, and you can see into the Ethereal Plane through the reflection. Ethereal creatures and objects appear ghostly and translucent.
This property functions continuously and has no effect on anything outside the mirror's reflected field of view.
