Guidance for AI agents working in this D&D oneshot repository.
Language
All player-facing text must be in Czech. This includes:
- Read-aloud / boxed text — anything the DM reads aloud to the players.
- Printed handouts — everything in
prints/that is handed to a player (e.g. the character-secret cards inprints/secrets/).
DM-facing material (stat blocks, mechanics, notes, storyline logic, and combat-reference cards) stays in English.
What stays English vs. what gets translated
- Item and game-mechanic names stay in English, even inside Czech player text — e.g. Potion of Superior Healing, Bless, "DC 15", "8d4+8", "advantage on saving throws".
- Organization and place names get a Czech translation and use the Czech name in player-facing text.
- The Czech name must also be recorded in the DM-facing notes, so DM material carries both the English and Czech name and the two vocabularies stay in sync. When introducing a new org/place in DM material, write it as
English Name (Czech Name).
- The Czech name must also be recorded in the DM-facing notes, so DM material carries both the English and Czech name and the two vocabularies stay in sync. When introducing a new org/place in DM material, write it as
- Real-world easter-egg names stay in their original form in both DM and player-facing text. The setting reskins real Dundee locations (Dundee → Broath Got) as flavor — e.g. the tavern Nether Inn — and the easter egg only works if the real name is preserved. This is the exception to the place-name rule above: do not Czech-render these.
