# Rennt — The True Believer
**Look:** Wiry young man with scarred knuckles, rough-cut good looks, and dark eyes burning with conviction.
**Vibe:** Raw, charismatic anger; right about the world's injustice and catastrophically wrong about the cure.
- Set up Xarrul's summoning circle and believes the fiend remains bound
- Cast *Thunderwave* during the brawl, accidentally creating the blackout in which Orenn died
- Proudly shares Order doctrine; knows nothing of Nessa's true sacrifice or Phase Two's scale
- Violently opposes Ethereal destruction; attacks or sabotages the hunter to preserve Vyre's work

**Spells / Actions**
- **Cantrips:** *eldritch blast, thaumaturgy*
- **1st:** *hellish rebuke, armor of agathys, thunderwave*
- **Blackout testimony.** His denial of murder complicity is genuine; he used *Thunderwave* defensively and never saw Xarrul.
**Endgame**
- Rebinding: holds the command-knot station beside Haddon and Dalla; one broken station deals 2d6 psychic to each other active ritualist.
- Xarrul tells him Haddon knew the command line was dead and let him defend the lie.
- If the party prepares Ethereal destruction without resolving the cult split, Rennt sabotages the ritual, salt, oil, or far-side hunter.
