Twinkle — Feyspitter Guardian
Look: Hunting-dog-sized black spider; long legs with poisonous green joints and eight bead-bright eyes that skip through darkness between blinks. Vibe: Agitated guard animal, trained to herd and detain rather than kill; grieving Orenn in its own skittish way.
- Does not attack Orenn-scented creatures, anyone using Mags's command, or respectful creatures that leave Vault/Cells alone
- Holds the stair-foot and herds threats deeper; stops at the warded arch and cannot enter the Old Work/Ethereal Plane
- Opens with Grasping Legs, wraps downed creatures, escalates only if the party forces the Vault, harms the Guest, or keeps attacking
- DC 14 Animal Handling calms it; killing it deeply upsets Mags

CR 4. Skill: Stealth +8. Senses: darkvision 60 ft., tremorsense 10 ft., passive 11. Web-Dweller: Climbs walls/ceilings/webs freely; knows exact location of creatures touching the same web. Material Blink: Teleports only across the Material Plane; never enters the Ethereal.

- Lurchvenom Bite. +6 to hit, 5 ft.; 8 (1d8+4) piercing; DC 14 CON or poisoned 1 minute (save ends at end of turn). Start of poisoned turn: 9 (2d8) poison, then spider teleports target up to 15 ft.
- Spit Venom. +6 to hit, 30/60 ft.; 9 (2d8) poison and spider teleports target up to 15 ft.
- Grasping Legs. +6 to hit, 10 ft.; 7 (1d6+4) bludgeoning and grappled (escape DC 14).
Reactions
- Anticipatory Strike. Creature teleports within 5 ft. → Grasping Legs with advantage.
- Vanishing Dodge. When hit, DEX check vs. attack roll; success teleports 15 ft. and attack misses.
